As we gear up for the highly anticipated AYRTON SHOW DAY in Riga on October 7th, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to speak with the acclaimed Latvian lighting designer, Andrejs Dubkovs. Andrejs is not only a Lighting and Stage Designer but also the founder of "Lumen Art Division," a studio dedicated to creating captivating stage and lighting designs. His work seamlessly blends production and visualization for concerts, theatrical performances, and architectural projects.
In today’s world, it’s challenging to surprise people, but attendees will witness the latest Ayrton lighting fixtures in action, especially the Kyalami and Rivale models. These systems will not only be showcased in dynamic operation but also in scenographic installations that resonate with the audience. This approach will provide a deeper understanding of how standardized equipment is utilized today. With these technologies, we can explore new interpretations and offer greater possibilities from both mechanical and technological standpoints.
One primary focus will be the current state of technology in the scene lighting industry and its future trajectory. We should consider whether lighting technology will dictate stage performance or if it remains a tool that cannot exist without a foundational idea or vision. Analyzing how we can effectively employ scene light in our creative processes is crucial.
I aim to highlight how new LED lighting technologies can be perceived from various perspectives. This isn’t simply about showcasing technology for its own sake; it’s about demonstrating how effectively it enhances performance while keeping things simple. We will focus on innovative uses of standardized instruments, showing their potential in practical applications rather than complex combinations. Our goal is to illustrate that with the right technology applied correctly, significant effects can be achieved without unnecessary complexity.
The Veloce fixture is a highly anticipated addition to the market, captivating attention with its unique characteristics and capabilities. One of its standout features is its ability to integrate with other Ayrton fixtures, such as Revali and Kilami. This allows users to practically compare their performance and functionality within a single system.
Additionally, Veloce offers enhanced lighting and control technologies that meet the contemporary demands of the industry. Its design ensures harmonious interaction with other devices, which is crucial for creating high-quality light shows.
In my projects, I utilize various Ayrton fixtures, including Revalé, Diablo, and Cobra. These devices stand out due to their functionality and quality. They are ideally suited for creating captivating stage lighting.
When selecting lighting equipment, I always consider the specific requirements of the project. Each model has its own strengths and weaknesses, making it crucial to choose the right tools based on the event’s needs. It’s important to recognize that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution; each fixture should be utilized according to its intended purpose. Ayrton’s diverse range of models allows for the optimal choice of equipment for any scenario.
