When the original MagicDot debuted in 2015, it became an instant symbol of creative freedom and technical innovation for lighting designers worldwide. Within months, it sold thousands of units and received numerous international awards.

Nearly a decade later, Ayrton unveiled its next evolution — MagicDot Neo — at Prolight + Sound 2025 in Frankfurt, where it immediately captured the attention and admiration of industry professionals.

MagicDot Neo is more than just a modern update. It represents a new generation of stage lighting — one that fuses innovation, power, and artistic expression.


Minimal Size. Maximum Performance

The defining visual characteristic of the MagicDot Neo is its sleek, cylindrical design and ultra-compact form factor.

Weighing just 6.6 kg and featuring a 100 mm front lens, it ranks among the smallest fixtures in its class — yet rivals much larger units in brightness and functionality.

At its core lies a new 120 W RGB-L LED engine, delivering a vivid 3,000-lumen output while consuming only 160 W of power. Its 10:1 zoom system offers a variable beam angle from 3° to 30°, with instant transitions between Beam and Wash modes — allowing seamless adaptation to any stage scenario.

With illuminance reaching 16,000 lux at 5 meters, MagicDot Neo performs like a miniature powerhouse, offering exceptional efficiency in a compact body.

The fixture supports continuous double rotation on both pan and tilt axes, enabling the creation of intricate cluster arrangements with independent control of each light source. The minimal spacing between units unlocks new design possibilities previously limited by physical constraints.

The High-Definition Liquid Effect

Surrounding the main lens are 60 RGB LEDs that produce Ayrton’s distinctive High-Definition Liquid effect — a vivid, shimmering aura that gracefully frames the central beam.
