Shaping a Lighting Community: First VGD Meetup in Riga Sparks Technical Exchange and Creative Dialogue

Participants explored some of the key questions:

• Are we creatively stuck, or simply redefining artistic priorities?
• Where do ideas end and technology begin — or are they now inseparable?
• How can we use modern tools — like Beam control and PixelMap systems — in ways that truly serve both vision and audience?

In addition to discussion, the event placed strong emphasis on hands-on exploration of the technology. Attendees could experience real-time demos of Ayrton Nando 502 Wash and Veloce Profile fixtures — sparking in-depth dialogue about fixture behavior, color rendering, dimming curves, and integration into diverse stage setups.
