Compact L-Acoustics X12 Installation Delivers Exceptional Sound for Rėkyva Cultural Centre

The Rėkyva Cultural Centre, located in the Rėkyva district of Šiauliai, Lithuania, is part of the larger Šiauliai Cultural Center network. It serves as a vibrant local hub for cultural expression, hosting a wide variety of events including musical performances, community discussions, poetry evenings, exhibitions, and educational activities that promote both local and national culture.
Following a period of reconstruction, the venue has reopened with renewed ambition — to strengthen cultural life in the community and to establish new traditions in collaboration with local residents.

As part of the renovation, the main hall has been equipped with a compact L-Acoustics X12 sound reinforcement system, designed to deliver clear, natural, and evenly distributed sound throughout the space. The system consists of one X12 enclosure per side in a flown configuration, complemented by a single SB18II subwoofer for extended low-frequency performance.
The installation was carried out by STS (Scenos Techninis Servisas), one of the few Lithuanian companies that offer comprehensive installation solutions for client venues. Thanks to their professional expertise, the X12 system was precisely tuned to the acoustic characteristics of the compact space of the Rėkyva Cultural Centre , ensuring optimal coverage and balanced sound for both speech and live music.

The L-Acoustics X12 is renowned for its versatility and sonic precision, combining high output with exceptional clarity, making it ideal for small to medium-sized halls like Rėkyva. Its coaxial design ensures consistent tonal balance across the audience area, while the SB18II adds warmth and depth for live music, spoken word, and multimedia events.

With this modern audio setup, the Rėkyva Cultural Centre now provides an immersive listening experience, supporting a wide range of artistic and community events with professional-grade sound quality.
