The L-Acoustics L line array continues to win the most prestigious awards.

On November 1st, the AV Awards 2024 ceremony took place at the Evolution London exhibition and conference space. This prestigious event honors the winners of the oldest European awards in the field of multimedia technologies and systems integration, celebrating the best products, projects, companies, and professionals in the global AV industry for the past 26 years.

The AV Awards are presented annually by the esteemed British publication AV Magazine and are among the largest accolades in the proAV sector. The award ceremony is held separately from industry exhibitions and conferences, attracting over 1,400 representatives from manufacturing companies, integrators, and AV specialists worldwide. The selection of the best of the best occurs in three stages, allowing participation from products, companies, employees, and projects.

We extend our congratulations to L-Acoustics, which received the top honor at the AV Awards 2024 in the "Audio Technology of the Year" category for its groundbreaking L series.

The L series line array, comprising the L2 and L2D elements, represents a cutting-edge solution in audio engineering that directs sound precisely to listeners while minimizing noise pollution. This targeted approach concentrates sound energy where it is most needed and reduces leakage into the surrounding environment, thereby preventing potential ecological disturbances. Each L2 and L2D module is equipped with eight three-inch high-frequency drivers, eight ten-inch low-frequency drivers, and four twelve-inch side drivers, working together to provide accurate and powerful sound coverage. Users can choose between cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns to optimize sound direction and limit unwanted acoustic leakage.

One of the key innovations of the L series is its structural design. The series features a seamless lifting system with no angles between elements, an automatic locking mechanism without pins, and a single cable connector. This streamlined design significantly simplifies installation and dismantling processes while reducing the likelihood of assembly errors. As a result, loading time is reduced by three times compared to the previous K2 configuration, leading to substantial savings in time, energy, and resources spent on these operations.
