Ayrton Displayed the Innovation and Creativity for the Baltic Lighting Designers Community

The event kicked off with a captivating presentation by Andrejs Dubkovs, a distinguished lighting designer and scenographer, who delved into the evolution of BEAM type lighting systems. 

He guided the audience on a historical journey, tracing the development of lighting from the iconic Alexandria Lighthouse and early lens experiments to groundbreaking technologies of the 18th and 20th centuries, including parabolic reflectors and electric lighting. Participants gained valuable insights into key milestones that have significantly shaped modern lighting design in theaters and public spaces.

This historical exploration seamlessly led attendees to the innovations of Ayrton, highlighted by live demonstrations of their latest fixtures.

A standout moment was the introduction of the new Ayrton VELOCE Profile, featuring an impressive 850W LED light source capable of delivering a staggering 42,000 lumens. This powerful yet compact lighting solution represents the cutting edge of stage lighting innovation from Ayrton, making it ideal for a variety of applications ranging from concert shows to open air festivals. Markus Kowalewsky, the Ayrton Product Manager, showed the attendees all the stunning visuals of the VELOCE Profile.

Another highlight was the unveiling of the Ayrton KYALAMI, an ultra-compact laser light source designed specifically for architectural graphic effects. The Kyalami Light Show, created by Andrejs Dubkovs, mesmerized the audience with breathtaking visuals that featured colored narrow beams and graphics, emphasizing the magical interplay between light, music, and creativity. The Ayrton KYALAMI is an innovative tool that offers limitless possibilities for designers, enabling them to create impactful effects.
