On 16 September, we continue the series of stage-lighting designers meetups that began exactly one year ago.

We invite lighting designers, scenographers, technicians and other stage-lighting professionals to meet again in Riga — to exchange experience, discuss what is changing in the industry, look at new technology and see equipment in action.

What we will discuss

Autumn–Winter: Where Are We Heading?
What has changed in the industry since our previous meeting? Which trends are gaining momentum, and where is the professional lighting market heading this season?

SGM Returns
A familiar name is back in the conversation. We will look at what SGM offers today, what has changed and why the brand deserves another look.

Projection Through the Eyes of a Lighting Designer
Not a session about video engineering. We will look at projection as light: how a projector creates an image, what happens optically, and what a lighting designer should understand when projection becomes part of the visual composition.

Demo of Ayrton RawBeam & MagicBlade
We will look at Ayrton RawBeam as a hybrid beam/spot and discuss where that combination becomes genuinely useful. We will also see at Ayrton MagicBlade — a newest fixture that has become a familiar creative tool — and explore why lighting designers continue to find new ways of using it.

There will also be plenty of time for questions, discussion and informal conversation with colleagues.
