Two years after the success of Nando 502, Ayrton introduces Nando 1202 — a more powerful RGB-L wash luminaire designed for stage lighting, live shows, television productions and demanding outdoor applications.
More than simply a larger version, Nando 1202 expands the creative potential of the Nando family with higher output, refined colour control and impressive versatility in a compact format.
At the heart of Nando 1202 are 28 high-performance 50 W RGB-L LED sources with additive colour mixing. Combined with Ayrton’s proprietary optical system, the fixture delivers a luminous flux of 25,000 lumens and ensures smooth, homogeneous mixing of both pastel and saturated colours.
With a CRI above 86, Nando 1202 offers accurate colour repeatability and an extended colour space, making it suitable for applications where colour quality and consistency are essential.
The fixture can shift instantly from Beam to Wash, while its 15:1 zoom ratio and wide range from 3.5° to 53° allow lighting designers to move from narrow, concentrated beams to wide, soft washes within a single luminaire.
A black honeycomb louvre and the complete isolation of each light source significantly improve contrast and beam definition. The anti-reflective treated glass window further enhances the visual result, helping the fixture deliver clean, powerful and highly controlled output on stage.
Individual control of each LED source also makes it possible to create dynamic volumetric 3D effects, adding depth and motion to lighting designs.
Nando 1202 is built for mixed indoor and outdoor use, including challenging environments such as high-humidity or saline locations. Despite its increased power, the fixture remains compact and practical for touring, rental and complex rigging applications.
