Ayrton Rawbeam 350 Is Coming

Ayrton is preparing a new generation of luminaires for full-scale production and global release, continuing its focus on compact high-output fixtures engineered for demanding professional applications. First previewed at ISE, the upcoming RawBeam 350, Nando 1202 Wash, and MagicBlade Neo demonstrate Ayrton’s ongoing investment in optical innovation, miniaturisation, IP65 engineering, and advanced creative tools for touring, broadcast, live events, immersive environments, and architectural productions.

Ayrton introduced RawBeam 350 — a new ultra-compact laser-sourced fixture designed to recreate the visual character and punch of a classic discharge beam, while delivering the efficiency, consistency, and reliability of modern laser technology.

RawBeam 350 — Reimagining the Discharge Beam for the Laser Era

Sharing the same compact footprint as Stradale, RawBeam 350 delivers an impressive 1,200,000 lux at 10 meters from a remarkably small and lightweight form factor. The fixture features a 160 mm front lens and a proprietary 13-lens optical system with a massive 35:1 zoom ratio, operating seamlessly from an ultra-tight 1.2° beam to a wide 42° wash.

One of RawBeam 350’s most significant engineering achievements is its fully linear zoom architecture. Unlike conventional hybrid fixtures that transition between dedicated beam and spot modes, RawBeam maintains a continuous optical path throughout the entire zoom range. The result is exceptionally uniform output, edge consistency, and optical efficiency across both narrow and wide angles — not only in beam mode, but also in broader projection applications where many fixtures typically lose punch and homogeneity.

Built on the same platform philosophy as Ayrton’s Ultimate Series, RawBeam 350 combines extreme miniaturization with advanced colour control, precision effects, and high-speed movement systems, including continuous pan and tilt rotation. Multiple graphic tools allow the fixture to move far beyond traditional beam applications, enabling highly defined aerial looks, textured atmospherics, and dynamic visual compositions for concert touring, EDM, television, live events, and immersive productions.

As with every Ayrton luminaire released since 2023, RawBeam 350 is fully IP65-rated for both indoor and outdoor deployment, including demanding saline and humid environments. Despite its robust environmental protection and advanced optical system, the fixture weighs only 24.5 kg, making it particularly attractive for touring and large-scale rigging applications where weight, density, and deployment efficiency are critical.

According to Ayrton Designer Relationship Manager Marc Lorenz, one of the strongest reactions at ISE came from professionals surprised by how closely RawBeam 350 reproduces the visual signature of traditional discharge fixtures — but from a far more compact, efficient, and technologically advanced laser platform.
